Jenna was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2016. She completed her Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney and also holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Criminology and Psychology. Since admission as a lawyer, Jenna has worked predominantly in family law, and previously in criminal and civil law. Prior to founding Coast Family Lawyers, Jenna worked for well-established boutique family law firms in Sydney, working closely alongside the principals of each firm. As a mum to twin toddlers, Jenna understands the anxiety separation can cause as a parent and will help you “keep your cool” throughout the process.
Jenna has experience across a wide range of family law issues including complex financial settlements and parenting disputes. She has represented clients in matters involving domestic and family violence, relocation and recovery of children, child abuse, urgent airport watchlist orders and drug and alcohol abuse. Jenna’s undergraduate qualification in criminology and psychology places her in a unique position to understand the breakdown of relationships due to mental health issues, addictions, personality disorders, and family violence.
Jenna has also represented a range of client’s with complex property matters. She has previously instructed Senior Counsel in one of Australia’s largest white-collar civil matters involving fraud in the Supreme Court of NSW. Jenna’s attention to detail has assisted her in locating undisclosed assets and identifying unusual transactions.
Jenna combines empathy with a genuine passion for family law when assisting her clients. At all times, her focus is on obtaining the best result possible through strategic preparation and strong advocacy. In addition to studying an undergraduate and postgraduate degree, Jenna played first grade soccer and rowed for the University of Sydney women’s club.
